2 lbs chicken breast cut up into chunks
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
knorr pesto packet (yes i cheated but knorr is a company i love personally and have no problem feeding my family)
weber new orleans cajuin seasoning (if you dont have this use cayenne)
Cook pasta according to packaging.
Toss some butter in a hot pan and melt and put your cut up chicken in the pan. cook it till browned and done through season with seasonings.
add a bit more butter, probably 3 tbsp
add the flour and stir to coat chicken in the rue
add the heavy cream and the milk and get it hot but do not scorch it while whisking
thinks should start tightening up at this point but will still be pretty thin.
Add the knorr pesto mix and whisk some more, now it should start getting a bit thicker but still a little thin. Turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes and it will finish tightening up.
pout the chicken mix over the pasta and stir well.
top with parm cheese or some shredded cheese.
